Cold Laser

Chronic pain is estimated to affect 56 million people in the US.  Many people use medications to help with the pain, a recent study showed 38 percent of adults use prescription painkillers, but there are other options. Cold laser, or low level laser therapy (LLLT) is a painless, sterile, non-invasive, drug-free modality that can be used for acute and chronic pain.  The light from the laser is absorbed by the skin and stimulates the energy factories within the cells which can promote cellular energy production, biochemical reactions, protein and growth factor synthesis, cell growth and proliferation and enhanced blood and oxygen flow. Low level laser has been used effectively in clinical trials to reduce pain, reduce swelling, and promote healing. For more information visit: http://www.erchonia.com/laser-applications
